Katie Starer

Katie has been making handcrafted cosplays for over 20 years and has won multiple cosplay contest awards. On top of her passion for cosplay creation, Katie’s background in sales, customer experience, and operations management in the tech startup industry is the perfect blend to create a bespoke competition that runs smoothly at minimum spend, all while keeping competitor and attendee experience at the forefront.

OUR WORK

We are well known for designing smoothly run cosplay competitions and masquerades by creating a positive competitive environment. All the shows we run have seen a 4-5x increase in entrant applications and are known for attracting top talent competitors, which in turn brings excitement to your attendees. With our ear to the ground in the community, we consistently have a pulse on what competitors and audiences are seeking, allowing us to keep our shows fresh and entertaining each year while maintaining our high standards for show running best practices.

Leftfield Media

After a hugely successful trial run at Anime NYC in 2019, we have taken on the full suite of cosplay masquerades and competitions for Leftfield Media since 2020 for audiences in the thousands. Our competitions and masquerades are consistently in the top 3 attended panels at every event, every year. We have secured competitor relevant sponsorships from Arda Wigs, Oliso Irons, Famore Cutlery, Cut Sew patterns, Bokksu snack boxes, Mehron Makeup, and more.
